“Who Is Our Neighbor?” Digital Worship 7-19-20

As we continue with digital worship in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the most
important issues surrounding our faith and the time we live in is “what does it mean to love our
neighbors?” This is a vitally important question to ask as masks and social distancing are now
seen more as a political statement than an act of care and love for our neighbors. Over the next
4 weeks, we will explore what Jesus meant by commanding us to be good neighbors and how we
can love our neighbors in creative, faithful ways.

“Coming Out the Other Side” Digital Worship 7-12-20

It is frequently said that we are in a “dark and scary” time in our country’s history. And this point, it’s kind of hard to refute that: COVID-19 has a firm grip on our community, country, and world. Our politics are as divisive as ever. We are lonely and physically isolated. These days seem dark. But what if, in the midst of the darkness, God is there? Even when we struggle to see through the darkness, God is there to anchor us? For two weeks, we will explore the darkness and how through the darkness, our faith can actually deepen. We will use parts of Learning to Walk in the Dark by Barbara Brown Taylor, as our guide through this series.

Midweek Prayer 7/8/20
